Compound 5000 is a silicone-free abrasive that ensures quick corrective action and a good finish without leaving holograms.

It quickly eliminates paint imperfections such as deep scratches and overspray. Compound 5000 is a self-lubricating, ammonia-free abrasive.

Compound 5000 is also particularly suitable for gelcoat polishing.

To improve the finish, an additional pass with Final Cut 9000 or Ultra Finish 12000 is recommended as subsequent steps.

HOW TO USE CARTEC COMPOUND 5000

Cartec Compound 5000 can be used as a first and only step as it is able to remove medium-serious defects, but at the same time leaves a good finish.

Choose the type of pad based on the defects and the type of support to be polished.

Apply 4 pea-sized drops of product to the pad.

We recommend using Cartec Compound 5000 with a medium yellow foam pad, with a rotary or random orbital polisher, to remove sanding marks up to P3000.

Cartec Compound 5000 allows you to quickly eliminate oxidation and opacity from the gelcoat.
