The Headlight Polish Set is the ideal solution for restoring the transparency of yellowed and dull headlights, bringing back clear visibility and a like-new appearance. Thanks to the combination of polish and pads, an even and optimal surface can be achieved in just two steps. The set comes in a box and includes everything needed for a complete treatment: abrasive papers of different grits, a hand block with Velcro for sanding, Headlight Polish 1 and Headlight Polish 2 with a sealing component, as well as three specific pads for the different stages of treatment. The included Thermo Pad allows for effective temperature control during the process: thanks to its thermochromic property, the pad changes color, acting as a visual indicator of the material's temperature, helping to work safely and precisely. With the Headlight Polish Set, up to 50 headlights can be treated. The kit includes:

  • Polycarbonate Corrective Compound - 250 ml Headlight Polish 1
  • Polycarbonate Finishing Polish – 250 ml Headlight Polish 2
  • Sponge Pad - Heavy Cut Pad 76 × 23 mm
  • Wool Pad 80 mm
  • Thermo Pad 76 × 23 mm
  • Abralon Sandpaper grit 1000
  • Abralon Sandpaper grit 2000
  • Abralon Sandpaper grit 4000
  • Hand block with Velcro for abrasive papers

How to use it BEST

HOW TO USE KOCH-CHEMIE HEADLIGHT POLISH SET

1. Thoroughly clean the surface to be treated.

2. Mask the edges.

3. If the headlights are severely yellowed/damaged, we recommend sanding them. For this step, use the supplied hand block or, if available, a sander.

4. Start with 1000-grit sandpaper. Wet the surface with water and sand in a circular motion until you achieve a uniform result. Dry and clean the surface between each pass.

5. Repeat the step with the 2000 grit and then proceed with the 4000 grit.

6. Polish with Headlight Polish 1 combined with the Heavy Cut foam pad or wool pad. Remove any product residue with a clean microfiber cloth.

7. Then polish with Headlight Polish 2 in combination with the Thermo Pad. Remove any product residue with a clean microfibre cloth.
