Gelcoat Ultra Heavy Cut is an extremely powerful abrasive compound, designed to remove deep scratches, hazing, and fender marks from heavily deteriorated gelcoat and marine paints.
Thanks to its intensive action, it effectively eliminates the most severe imperfections, preparing surfaces for the subsequent polishing phase. The product is free of silicone oils and produces less dust and splatter, making application cleaner and simpler.
Perfect for boats heavily exposed to marine weather elements, this compound is also particularly suitable for dark gelcoat and paints, ensuring a uniform base for subsequent treatment.

How to use it BEST
HOW TO USE KOCH-CHEMIE MARINE GH9.01 - GELCOAT ULTRA HEAVY CUT
1. Shake the product well before use.
2. Apply 5 drops of Gelcoat Ultra Heavy Cut to a pad such as a Twisted Wool Pad or Heavy Cut Foam Pad.
3. Distribute the product evenly at low speed, gradually increasing the speed and working the product in a cross-hatch pattern for a uniform result.
4. Remove residues with a microfiber cloth.
5. It is recommended to finish with a finishing compound.
6. Remove product residues with an Isopropyl Alcohol-based cleaner.
7. Apply a sealant to protect and seal the pores of the treated surface.
