Backlining Cloth is a reinforcing fabric designed for the preventative stabilization of large tears and holes in the leather, provided they are still repairable.

Applied to the inside of the skin, it helps consolidate the damaged area and create a solid and stable base for the next repair phase.

How to use it BEST

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

The fabric should be cut to the desired shape, slightly larger than the hole, and marked in the center with a marker or small sticker. This facilitates correct positioning and ensures a uniform overlap under the skin.

The center is fixed with a needle, while the edges are distributed evenly with a spatula and then glued, ensuring a stable and long-lasting support.
