Backlining Cloth is a reinforcement fabric designed for the preventive stabilization of large tears and holes in leather, as long as they are still repairable. Applied to the inside of the leather, it consolidates the damaged area and creates a solid and stable base for the subsequent repair phase.

How to use it BEST

HOW TO USE COLOURLOCK BACKLINING CLOTH

The fabric should be cut to the desired shape, slightly larger than the hole, and marked in the center with a marker or small sticker. This facilitates correct positioning and ensures a uniform overlap under the skin.

The center is fixed with a needle, while the edges are distributed evenly with a spatula and then glued, ensuring a stable and long-lasting support.
