Glue-Tex is a heat-sealable, self-adhesive backing for the professional stabilization of tears and holes in leather and imitation leather.
Medium to large, yet repairable, damage requires structural reinforcement by applying a support fabric. Glue-Tex is a special fabric that provides a stable base for surface reconstruction. It can be applied to both the back and, if necessary, the visible side of the material.
Once heated, it adheres firmly, creating a resistant backing for subsequent filling and finishing steps. It enables durable and inconspicuous repairs even for complex damage.

How to use it BEST
HOW TO USE COLOURLOCK GLUE-TEX BLACK
1. Cut the fabric to the appropriate size. The overlap must ensure sufficient stabilisation of the damaged area.
2. The fabric has an adhesive with markings that identify the sticky side: pay attention to correctly distinguish the sides when cutting.
3. Apply Glue-Tex and place it under the crack with the adhesive side facing up.
4. Use a heat gun to heat the glue. A spatula can be used as a pressure tool.
5. After a few moments, apply the Chill Bar to quickly lower the temperature.
